Our Winter Activities

Have you ever tried snowshoeing on sparkling snow, driving a snowmobile for kilometers between white mountain tops or skied on professionally-prepared ski tracks already in October? If not, then it is time to try some of our activities. A guided experience means you get more out of your stay with us here at Camp Ripan. We invest in quality instead of quantity. With small groups we can offer you personal service.

The name Kiruna is a Swedish version of the Sami word "giron", which means "ptarmigan" in English, and "ripa" in Swedish. You can expect many exciting stories and tales that we are more than happy to share with you. In addition, we know the latest on what is going on in the mine, in town, at the Esrange Launch Site, and of course about the moving of the city.
